Media Player Resets Volume to Maximum for each Track

When selecting a Playlist file to play several tracks, the volume resets to 100% at the start of each track.

I would expect the custom volume to be maintained as each track is played.

Here I have changed the volume for track 4, but when track 5 begins the volume goes back to maximum.
