The new BriskBard 3.1 adds even more features requested by the users, resulting in an easier and smoother experience.

One of those requests was having the possibility to browse the bookmarks without mouse clicks and now you can leave the mouse pointer idle over a bookmark folder to open it automatically.

The context menu over the bookmarks allows you to select the speed of the automatic bookmark browsing in case you prefer a shorter or longer idle time to open a folder automatically.

The Ad blocker has been updated and now it allows you to select what kind of files should be blocked.

Until now, the Ad blocker stopped all downloads originating in known ad servers but this can be detected by some websites and they usually ask to disable the ad blocker if you want to access the contents of that website.

The new option to only block the media files will avoid many of those problems. The web page will still show some of the ad contents but most of the images and videos will not appear on the screen.

This is the complete list of changes in BriskBard 3.1 :

• The Blink rendering engine for the Chromium tabs has been upgraded to 100.0.4896.75.
• The WebView2 tabs now use the loader version 1.0.1150.38.
• The Ad blocker now has two options to only block the media files or all the files.
• Now the bookmark folders open automatically when the mouse pointer is idle over them.
• Added configuration options to select the action taken when there's a JavaScript error or a browser process error.
• The Ad blocker server list has been updated.
• The IRC bookmarks have been updated.
• The free Newsgroups servers list has been updated.
• The Indy, SQLite and Tor components have been updated to the latest version.
• Bug fixes :
  • The notification with the information about the Tor network connection is shown when the connection state reaches 100%.
