BriskBard 3.4 Released !

In addition to all the updated components and bug fixes this new BriskBard version also has an improved user interface to grant or deny access to your webcam or microphone in each web page.

The address bar also shows new webcam and microphone icons when the current web page has access to your media capture devices. This new feature works for web browser tabs that use the Blink rendering engine.

Users with high DPI monitors will notice that some graphical issues were fixed. Now the address bar and the logo in the splash screen have the correct size even with 4K monitors.

This is the complete list of changes in BriskBard 3.4 :

  • The Blink rendering engine for the Chromium tabs has been upgraded to 105.0.5195.127.
  • The WebView2 tabs now use the loader version 1.0.1343.22.
  • The web browser tabs using Blink now show a dialog when a web page needs permission to capture audio or video.
  • The address bar now shows icons when the user grants permission to capture audio or video.
  • The Indy, Tor and SQLite components have been updated to the latest versions.
  • The Ad blocker server list has been updated.
  • Bug fixes :
    • Fix some graphical glitches in the address bar and the splash screen when using monitors with high DPI settings.
