Hello,

Today I downloaded current BriskBard and installed it first on a Win7 pc.
All works fine and it is a real nice browser.

Then I installed it on my older XP box. Installer does install without Messages.
But on propgramm-start i get a Crash with: SetThreadErrorMode in kernel32

So when BriskBard is not compatible with old XP, you should dispay the System requirments on the download-page.
And the installer should check the OS for compatibility.

Regards
Hans-Peter

Hi Hans-Peter,

Thanks for your suggestion! :D

I'll try to add that check to the installer script in the next release.

BriskBard uses the latest CEF4Delphi version and that means the Windows XP and Vista are not supported.
This requirement is indicated in the FAQ but I should check it in the installer.

Hello Salvador,

I missed the FAQ entry.
Why not place a small "Windows 7, 8, 8.1, 10" under the download button?
And improving the installer. ;-)

Thanks again! :D

I'll add that text to the download page as soon as I can.
