ARM Processors ?

Post by thefunkyjoint »

It's getting more common to new Windows 11 machines, come with ARM processors, instead of x86.

I tried to install my application with CEF4Delphi in one of these machines, and it won't open :?

Is there any workaround, or anything special that need to be done with these kind of machines ?

Thanks !

Hi,

I don't have any computer with Windows 11 running on an ARM cpu.

In any case, Delphi and Lazarus can't build Windows applications for ARM cpus at the moment.

Try the x86 emulation included in that OS :

I did some new tests. The problem in my case, was not related to CEF4Delphi. After some tweaks, the app runs, a bit slower because looks like the Windows 11 ARM emulates x86, but it runs ! :D
