There were some reports of build issues of the 6099 branch but most of the times the Internet connection or the servers fail and the missing source files causes build errors. We can only retry in this case.

Chromium is a gigantic project that requires a very powerful computer to build. Consider using WebView4Delphi, which already has all the codecs, if this process takes too much time.

Belated response, but this seems to be able to get me by for now so thanks for that suggestion

The depot_tools.zip package has been updated recently.

Make sure you download it again before trying to build the binaries.

Hello, after almost a year I still can’t build a CEF. This week I started everything from the beginning, reinstalled Windows, configured everything according to these instructions, after 12 hours of compiling version 6723 I get the following error:

I can’t understand what the problem is, maybe someone found a solution during this time?
And is it possible to somehow continue compilation from the point of error or, for example, at least not download all the files again? Otherwise, downloading is also a lengthy process, 2 hours could have been saved.

I just updated the instructions with the right branch number in case that was the issue.

I see only “branch” has changed in the instructions, that’s what I installed. But really, I just noticed that I had 2 Windows SDKs, one is correct, the second is a little larger with the last four characters. I deleted it, maybe it was the problem, I’ll try to build CEF again.

Unfortunately, the problem was not in the SDK, the same error on the same line . Nobody has any ideas? The last version that I was able to compile was 109. I couldn’t build any version higher.
